Practice Facility

Brea Creek's Practice Facility features a large driving range and putting green. Our Practice Facility is open the same hours as the golf course and is a great place to practice your game or get instruction.

Golf Instruction

Our professional staff is here to help you. Our teaching programs are designed to meet the needs of men, women, and juniors across all skill levels. Whether you are learning the basics or taking your game to the next level, we have a program for you. We offer Private lessons with video, Semi-Private lessons with small groups (2-4 people), and Golf Classes that are in a group setting and run from 3 to 6 weeks. Jim Howe – Golf Professional and Cal State Fullerton University Golf Instructor
Jim Howe began playing golf in 1961. Since then the thousands of rounds, hundreds of tournaments and countless hours of practice have given him a great background for teaching. He started teaching at Ridge Country Club in Chicago in 1973. He became the head golf coach at Cal State Fullerton University in 1980, where he is still an instructor in the kinesiology department at the school.

James Kim – Golf Professional and PGA Apprentice
James Kim has been playing golf for over 30 years and has qualified and enrolled in the PGA PGM program since 2008. James has a unique ability to quickly and accurately diagnose your swing fault and develop a long-term improvement program or a short-term quick fix. He has the reputation of a patient and personable instructor.

  • Two hours of  instruction daily (9am - 11am)
  • Thursday includes awards and lunch (hot dog, chips and drink)
  • $110 weekly

Five-Days-A-Week Camp

Taught by James Kim

Monday - Friday
  • Four hours a day (11am - 3pm): 
    -  90 minutes of instruction
    -  30 minutes for lunch
    -  2 hours of playing golf on the course
  • Lunch is provided daily (hot dog, chips, and drink)
  • Friday is a tournament with lunch and awards
  • Discounts are available for multiple weeks and siblings
  • $199 weekly
